Salary & Pay Scale Details- Pay Scale: Level 8 – ₹26,300 – 83,500/- (7th Pay Commission)
- Grade Pay: ₹2,800/- (as per previous pay commission)
- In-Hand Salary: ₹39,430/- per month approximately (including allowances)
- Probation Period: 2 years with fixed remuneration
- Additional Benefits: DA, HRA (8-16%), Medical Allowance, Pension (NPS), Gratuity
- Career Growth: Regular increments based on seniority and performance

Exam Difficulty & Competition Analysis- Difficulty Level: High – Requires strong knowledge in Statistics, Economics & Computer Applications
- Total Applications: Approximately 8-10 lakh candidates applied for 625 posts
- Competition Ratio: Approximately 1:1280 to 1:1600 (Extremely High Competition)
- Cut-off Marks: Around 65-75% marks for general category (Based on 100 marks exam)
