Age Limit & Selection Process- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years as on 01 July 2025
- Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC-NCL, 03 years for Ex-Servicemen (after deducting service), 5 years for Female widowed/divorced candidates as per government norms
- Selection Process: CBT-1 → CBT-2 → CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test) → Document Verification → Medical Examination

Salary & Pay Scale Details- Pay Scale: Level 2 – ₹19,900 – 63,200/- (7th Pay Commission)
- Initial Pay: ₹19,900/- per month
- In-hand Salary: ₹35,000/- approximately (including allowances)
- Additional Benefits: DA, HRA, Medical, Travel Allowance, Running Allowance, Pension

Exam Difficulty & Competition Analysis- Difficulty Level: High – Technical knowledge and aptitude test required
- Expected Applications: 25-30 lakh candidates for 18,799 posts
- Competition Ratio: Approximately 1:1300 to 1:1600 (Very High Competition)
- Previous Cut-off Range: 60-75% marks for general category in CBT-1, 70-85% in CBT-2
- CBAT Qualifying: Minimum T-score of 42 in each test battery
- Preparation Time: 6-8 months recommended for comprehensive preparation
- Success Rate: Less than 0.08% selection rate – Requires intensive technical and aptitude preparation
